To apply for membership in The Head of the Bay Club, a prospective member must first obtain a lead sponsor.  The lead sponsor must be a member in good standing for two years, and must not have sponsored another prospective member for the period of one calendar year.  The lead sponsor will obtain an application on behalf of the prospective member. The application requires a letter of recommendation from the lead sponsor, plus two additional letters from secondary sponsors.

A completed application with the three letters of sponsorship and an application fee must be delivered to the Club.  The application will be reviewed, an interview with the membership committee will be scheduled, and the prospective member will be placed on the waiting list.

All applicants to The Head of the Bay Club must reside in the township of Huntington.
